His main contribution to World Development lies in the Youth Self Employment Program of Bangladesh, designed and established by in 1982 on Commonwealth Fund for Technical assistance (CFTC) assignment. By February 2011 over two million youths became self employed on a commercially viable basis (Report to the 34 th Session of IFAD, 19/2.2011).. This Program has become the premier program of self-employment creation in the world and trains and guides 160,000 persons to become self employed annually. He has an interest in Americal Election adminstration and Electoral reform He has worked in a number of countries: Sri Lanka, The Bahamas, Bangladesh , UK and the USA
